Laminate parquet

Quality three-layer parquet floorThis quality parquet floor consists of three layers, with a solid top layer made of oak or a tropical wood species.

Structure of laminate parquet As a multi-layer parquet, a laminate parquet consists of three different layers.

  • The bottom layer provides stabilization. At Kerkhofs Parket, this underlayment consists of a spruce veneer of about 2 millimeters thick.
  • The middle or middle layer is made of hevea or spruce and measures 9 millimeters thick.
  • The top layer (about 4 millimeters) of laminate parquet consists of a solid layer of hardwood and can be made of numerous wood species such as oak or a tropical wood species.

Parquet flooring finished to measure

Custom finishes also apply to laminate flooring. In addition to untreated engineered parquet, any oil or lacquer finish is among the options.

Advantages of laminate parquet

Thanks to the multiple layers, laminate parquet has virtually no working. This type of parquet lends itself perfectly to floating installation. Low impact and floating installation make this floor ideal for our changing climate. Optically, you barely notice the difference from a solid parquet floor. Longevity is also similar. This parquet floor is highly recommended for upper floors, such as bedrooms.
