Tapis parquet Tapis parquet grew out of the most traditional solid parquet floor in Belgium. The name refers to “carpet,” where parquet flooring is as thin as a rug. The thickness of this solid parquet floor is 6mm. This makes this parquet floor ideal for underfloor heating. The length of the boards is completely up to you, with a variation between 30 and 130 centimeters. The width varies between 7.9 to a maximum of 14 centimeters.

The traditional parquet floor

The installation of carpet flooring is done in the traditional manner. The wooden parquet boards are glued together and then shot in place with small nails. These nail holes are finely made invisible with oak dust.
